Northwest Spinal Cord Injury Network

I would like for all to be aware -----

All who spend life in a wheel chair,

That we are available to help you,

That's our job ----- It's what we do,

I know your needs are diversified -----

Some are hurting so deep inside,

Sometimes it helps to talk things through

With those who are living in wheel chairs, too.

Once every month, on the first Monday night,

You can come to a meeting and get some insight.

You all have troubles ----- and there you'll be able

To lay your problems out on the table,

There you'll get help and understanding -----

And no one there will be demanding.

Many needs can be met in this way -----

By helping each other, day by day.

You can telephone to keep in touch -----

And this group does so very much!!

There's wheel chair basket-ball, for one,

There you can really have some fun!

Nancy, herself, is donating a van -----

It belonged to her brother, a wonderful man

It's something she felt Mike would want her to do,

To make life a little bit nicer for you.

These are the kind of people who care -----

Who make up the group, and do more than their share.

Working together is what it's about -----

Trying to help each other out,

So give it a try ----- join in the fun,

I'm sure you'll find something for everyone!!!
